Our parent company, Talalay Global was founded in 1975 with a mission of bringing superior manufacturing processes and materials to the bedding industry.  JUVEA was created to bring 100% natural latex products to you and continues to be singularly focused on providing the highest quality natural latex pillows and mattress toppers for you to achieve quality rest and relaxation, allowing you to wake up feeling rejuvenated and healthier.

Both our business and our manufacturing headquarters are based in Shelton, Connecticut. The JUVEA culture is rooted in combining traditional processes with the latest in scientific innovation using renewable resources.

JUVEA goes above and beyond to prove our product claims by developing proprietary technology to test our product’s resilience and comfort. Our factory uses an 8-point quality testing process to ensure that all JUVEA products are of the highest quality, consistently. We’re also among the only pillow and mattress companies around to put our products through both the Talameter Open Cell Structure Test and through rigorous Pressure Mapping to ensure that the products we produce are ready to live up to their rejuvenation potentials.

With more than a third of Americans rating their sleep quality as “poor” or “only fair” in a recent study by the National Sleep Foundation, we’ve made our mission to put that statistic to rest.

OUR MATERIALS

JUVEA products are made with 100% natural latex sourced from the Hevea Brasiliensis tree. We harvest this arboreal beauty’s pure rubber resin to make our materials that are healthy for you and your family.

There are several popular methods of processing the natural material for commercial production, and the Talalay method — the only kind used for JUVEA products — refers to a special cold and heat processing style that results in an airy yet uniform consistency.

Traditional Talalay manufacturing is a method wherein liquid latex is poured into a mold, vacuumed, flash frozen, and heated. Our pillows are then washed, dried and cured in a five-stage process that gently removes allergen proteins for a pure, healthy final product.

Where other brands pour and immediately heat the latex causing it to settle and form inconsistent pockets of density, our unique freezing process prevents settling, allowing an even consistency and support throughout the product. This longer and more carefully monitored manufacturing process results in a buoyant foam that maintains consistent density and recovery. The end result is 100% natural, uniquely buoyant and amazingly breathable support.
